First, the author strives to explain how the concept if human dignity holds importance and should be respected by way of mentioning Factor X and what it professes. Factor X is identified as the basic reason why every human being should be credited with a certain level of respect and dignity. The author justifies his argument by smartly associating Factor X with the need to preserve human dignity by discussing that violating Factor X is like committing a crime against humanity which should be detested.
